Bringing Fugitives to Justice with Securus Technologies

As part of an elite fugitive hunting task force, I am always looking for any resources to help me locate and arrest wanted fugitives. Each hour these suspects are on the street puts the entire community in harm’s way. We had our hands full this month with a very dangerous fugitive who was a master of escaping the jails he was sent to. This month the simply overtook a guard in the laundry room and walked out the jail with the rest of the officers. His violent and unpredictable nature meant that he could use deadly force if his freedom was threatened.

Since the suspect only had a few hours head-start, we knew he could only be so far. The perimeter was secure for all roads leading out of the city, and we began to tighten the noose slowly until we got our leads. One of the things I have learned in two decades of law enforcement is that the first three days these fugitives will go into hiding until the heat dies down, and then they will make mistakes. Either the fugitive feels comfortable, they are hungry, or tired of looking over their shoulders, they do something that tips off the authorities. Three days passed and nothing, so it was time to step up these efforts.

Securus Technologies was recently installing an inmate call monitoring system in the local jail, so we decided to take a closer look and listen. The calls that were monitored turned out to reveal some key pieces of information about our suspect. Our team staked out the residence for days thinking this might be a false lead, when out of nowhere we see the fugitive walking down the street and into the house. When he emerged to get some drinks and smokes, he was picked up without incident and brought back to be reunited with his family in jail.

Samuel’s Secret in Bringing Ideas to Fruition

On an interview, Samuel answered this question is a simple, yet informative manner. According to him, implementation goes hand in hand with creativity. It makes them entirely different in a market full of other investors. Again, before rushing into implementation, they take quality time to conduct a feasibility study.

It helps them a great deal in identifying how viable an idea is. Once an idea passes the test of time, they endeavor in feeding its skeleton with resources and time. At this point, success is guaranteed, and therefore other people begin falling behind. He encourages people who have ideas to rise above all odds and pursue them.
