Trade between two nations can be one of the most crucial aspects of the countries’ relationship to each other. The recent former Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom helped double the trade between Israel and the United Kingdom in just four years.

Israel and the United Kingdom have been trading with each other for decades. The increase in trade also helped deepen cultural, academic and business links between the two countries. Daniel Taub was born in the United Kingdom in 1962. However, Mr. Taub was always close to the country of Israel. After finishing his education in the United Kingdom and the United States, Mr. Taub enlisted in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
During his time in the IDF, Mr. Taub was part of the International Law Division of the IDF. After active duty, Mr. Taub would become an IDF reserve officer.
Following his military career, Mr. Taub would begin his diplomatic career at the Israeli Foreign Ministry. During his time at the Ministry, Mr. Taub worked in various capacities including the Middle East Peace Negotiations.
In 2011, Mr. Taub would be named Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom. He would hold onto that position until September of 2015. Today, Mr. Taub appears in various media outlets including The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The Times, and The Daily Telegraph.
